25 Fun Facts About Me

Happy Monday. I figure if I say that enough then it will help to pump me up for another week. It couldn’t hurt to try, right?

Lately, here in my little corner of the internet we have had a few new visitors and so I thought today would be a great day to do a little “get to know me again” post. I haven’t done anything like this in a while and it is always fun to share a few tidbits and random facts about myself in the hopes that someone else will jump in on on the comments and share some new and enlightening information about themselves. Who knows, your new “Internet Best Friend” may be waiting for you in the answers. Ok, maybe not but it’s still fun and after the last few weeks, months…all of 2020 I think we can all use a little fun these days.

Anyways, I will get into the questions now:
1. What is your middle name?
Diane. I have heard a couple stories floating around about how I got my name but I’m not entirely sure what is truth and what isn’t anymore so maybe we will have to ask my mom to share some insight on that one for us.

2. What was your favorite subject at school?
In Elementary school it was English. I have always loved reading and writing so it came natural. In Middle school it was a toss up between history and science, not because I particularly loved those subjects but some of my favorite teachers taught them so their classes were always fun, even when I got into trouble in the class. And in High School it was anything that my favorite teacher was teaching. I worked it out to make sure I had her as a teacher every year. I even chose to take art just to be sure I had her as a teacher and I am NOT an artist.

3. What is your favorite drink?
Tea. Flavored, unflavored, hot, cold I don’t care. I just love tea. There is something about tea that just brings people together.

4. What is your favorite song at the moment?
That is a combo of Helpless and Satisfied both from the Hamilton sound track. I am just a little bit obsessed at the moment.

5. What is your favorite food?
Lately it would have to be the Tuna Steak that my amazing husband has been making for us. He has gotten really good at cooking it just perfectly!

6. What is the last thing you bought?
Groceries. or the textbooks Dusty needed for the classes he is taking this semester.

7. Favorite book of all time?
Little Women by Lousia May Alcott. I have just always, always, always loved that book.

No description available.

8. Favorite Colour?
Yellow. Forever and always yellow.

9. Do you have any pets?
Nope, I have 3 kids. That’s enough mess for me at the moment.

10. Favorite Perfume?
I don’t really have one. In high school and college I wore a lot of the Bath and Body Works body splash things but as I have gotten older and busier there just hasn’t been time.

11. Favorite Holiday?
Thanksgiving. I love having the family all together and all the yummy foods without the pressure of gifts.

12. Are you married?
Yup. Celebrated 12 crazy roller coaster filled years in June of this year.

13. Have you ever been out of the country?
Yes, once right after I graduated from high school. I would love to travel more someday.

24. How tall are you?
5’5. Its a good average height despite what those in my family might say.

25. Can you cook?
I like to think so. My kids sometimes seem to disagree but I’m betting that has more to do with age and less with my abilities.

So there you have it. A few fun and relatively random facts about me. So now it’s your turn. Tell me a little bit about you. You can answer all 25 or just drop a few answers in the comments. And even if you decide not to, thanks for stopping by and joining me on my little corner of the internet.
